Emile Smith-Rowe was once again hit ground at Stamford Bridge last night, with the Englishman showcased series of impressive display which helped Mikel Arteta’s side beaten local rivals Chelsea.
The attacking midfielder who established himself as one of the pivotal player under Mikel Arteta since made breakthrough into first-team last season, produced quality performances once again at Stamford Bridge.
Last season, Smith-Rowe scored the only goal to secured victory for the Gunners against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, however, the 21-year-old playmaker delivered another masterful display against the west London club last night.
Smith-Rowe netted his side’s second goal of the night with a sublime first-time finish following an inch-perfect pass from talented playmaker Martin Odegaard.
There’s particular moment when the playmaker produced moment of magic as he deleted four Chelsea defenders in the box but unfortunately his strike was ended near post.
His goal at Stamford Bridge last night, mean the 21-year-old is now the Gunners’ joint top scorer this season despite making just 18 league starts.
